Domaine Bott Frères converts to BIO

Committed to Bio conversion since 2019, Domaine Bott Frères will be offering its range of Alsace wines in agricultural farming starting with the 2022 vintage. For many years now, we have been concerned about the environment and our impact on it. The quality of our wines is not only played out in the cellar but obviously begins in our vines and in our soils. Practicing sustainable agriculture, manual harvesting and committed to preserving biodiversity, Domaine Bott Frères demonstrates an eco-responsible approach to the care of the vines. An approach that will be at its peak with obtaining bio certification in 2022.

In fact, to obtain this precious Holy Grail, three years of conversion are necessary with the implementation of new and often substantial processes: natural treatments of the vines, abandonment of weeding as well as the purchase of new equipment. A significant financial and human investment, but worth the effort to offer quality wines, faithful to the Alsatian terroir !
